Walton County  July 27, 2010 The Green Flag is flying, it is beautiful today and Beach Chairs are set up in Frangista Beach. Fishing Boats are moving in and out of the Pass, Destin Pass is OPEN. There have been no Tar balls that have come up on our beaches this week…The winds have shifted out of the NW pushing any oil away from us. OUR BEACHES are OPEN.The Air Quality remain Good. Fresh fish at all area restaurants Our Beaches remain OPEN today and remain OIL FREE. Emergency management is in place to do whatever is necessary to keep our beaches clean, Our Walton county is being proactive setting up silt fencing and Geo tubes in the water to mitigate any future impact. To capture anything before it can get to the beach.

Refund Policy

We can make NO refunds with the beaches open. If you get here and the beaches are closed due to oil, we will do a pro ration per day, so you may enjoy attractions other than the beach.

This is BP’s problem if the beaches are impacted, to compenstae for damages and we are pursuing the claims center aggressively.

If you have people in your party with Asama, respiratory problems or medical conditions please have a doctors letter attached to your e-mail asking for cancellation. Our owners and attorneys will present each case individually to BP for a refund. We are allowing guest to move their reservation to 2011.
